3DMark 05 has been released to the world… Because of this, the OCC servers (and my server) are taking a pounding.
Read the PR announcement here.
For the last couple weeks, here at my blog and at OverclockersClub.com we’ve been asking people to help spread the word about Mozilla’s Firefox web browser.
This campaign has worked wonders, and Firefox has topped over 2,000,000 downloads in less than 10 days!
Downloading it just isn’t enough, we still need more people to help spread the word about Firefox. If you’d like to help with the “Spread Firefox” campaign, you can sign up for an account here. After signing up, you’ll get the code you need to add a Firefox banner or button to your web site (or any other place you want to stick it. :p
Thanks to a nice little program called XFire, my friends are easily able to see what I’m playing, and even what server I’m on… a lot like Gamespy or All Seeing Eye, however IMO it’s a much better program.
On the down side, you also have to be using XFire to see what I’m playing. So I still get people asking all the time, what I’m playing or what games I’m planning on getting. Thankfully, IGN/Gamespy recently (at least I think it was recent
) started a collection list and a wish list for games. – This covers XBox, Playstation, Nintendo, PC, and every other gaming system.
Check out my collection and wish list. No, I don’t have EVERY game listed.
Now, if I could just find a list like that for movies and music. Hmm… I think Amazon has something like that.
I just came across this today, Blogshares. It’s a fake stock market for blogs (and anyone else with an RSS feed). Kinda fun to play with when you get the time. Check out d3bruts1d.com’s stock. :p
