Blog Item / Comments Page

Well, it took a little longer than I expected, though I did stop for a quick dinner. ;) The “permalink” and “comments” sections of my blog should now be fixed (CSS and layout).

Those of you wanting to leave a comment will need a [free] blogger.com account.

If you run into any errors, bugs, or whatever with the changes I’ve made, please let me know.

*Update*
Well, just found one bug, and unfortunately I cannot fix this one. :/ If you go to post a comment to my blog, when you return here from blogger you are returned to the unformatted & unstyled page. :/ Sorry…. can’t fix that one. :/

Blog Archive

Because of how blogger.com archives files, I wasn’t able to get the list of archived files or even the post from that date displayed in my sites layout or style. However after a little bit of work, and a tad bit of help from Matt @ OCC, I’ve managed to get the archive section up and working. :)

Now you can go back and see my pointless rants, plugs, and OCC propaganda from when I first started using Blogger.com. ;P

I’ve still got to go in and modify the “comments” part of the blog, but hopefully that wont take much effort.

More Beta-ish Software

The fun just doesn’t stop.

IM2 has put out RC3 for IM2 v1.4. You can grab that here.

Also, Mozilla.org has put out RC1 for Firefox 1.0. A huge list of bug fixes have gone into this. You can download Firefox 1.0 RC1 here.

Remember, these are still BETA-ish programs, and may still have problems. ;)

Free Blog Advertisement

Came across Blogsnob today. Some free service to help promote blogs. Basically allows you to create text ads for your site that resemble Google’s AdSense program. Though it doesn’t look like they have the flexibility color wise. I may add their ad box to my site for a bit to see what it’s all about.

If you want to sign up and give it a try on your blog, you can do so here.

Update: I was wrong about the ads, you can customize the color for the ads, however it’s not working for me. :/ I’ve contacted Blogsnob about it, hopefully it’s just something silly on my part. Anyway, I’ve created a temporary fix for the issue.

Psywar’s Box Blog

Psywar, a friend of mine from OCC is finally back up and on line. I’ve talked him into getting a blogger account and giving his own blog a try. ;) I think he’ll like it if he can just stick with if for a few days, he had his own site for a while, but not sure what happened to it. – It was updated about as often as I updated mine. :p Since I switched over to blogger.com, I’ve started updating my site a lot more, which is why I think he will. We’ll see. ;)
