I may be a fan of IM2, but it’s still got a way to go till it takes over from Trillian to become my default client.
Each client has it’s strong points, one of the main things that keeps me using Trillian is the ease of managing contacts. From Friends to Family, OCC member or guild mates, and even co-workers there are a lot of people on my list. With Trillian organizing the users of various clients is extremely easy. 
Anyway, Trillian 3.0 offers a lot of new features and improvements. Some I like and others I don’t. Give it a shot, and let me know what you think about it.
