Well, after several years of being a loyal Nextel customer, I’m calling it quits. I was extremely upset to hear about the Sprint-Nextel merger, and though it’s not finalized yet, I wasn’t about to sit around get dicked by Sprint again.
You see, before being a Nextel customer, I had cellular service via Sprint PCS. Without a doubt, Sprint was the worst cell phone provider that I have ever seen. Billing issues, poor service, poor support, if there was ever a bad thing to say about a company it would hold true for Sprint.
After evaluating Verison Wireless, Cingular, and T-Mobile, I decided on Cingular. I’ve placed my order with them, and informed Nextel I wish to close my account. Hopefully Cingular’s service will be decent. Nextel has been great, and I hate to leave, but as I’ve said before, I will not do busisness with Sprint… even if it is Sprint-Nextel.
