While it hasn’t exactly reached “blockbuster” status, Batman Begins held the number one box office spot for the second week.
Though, from the looks of things it didn’t have much competition. Being that coming up we have the July 4th holiday weekend, I’d say Batman’s days are numbered.
- “Batman Begins,” $26.8 million.
- “Bewitched,” $20.2 million.
- “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” $16.75 million.
- “Herbie: Fully Loaded,” $12.75 million.
- “George Romero’s Land of the Dead,” $10.2 million.
- “Madagascar,” $7.3 million.
- “Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith,” $6.25 million.
- “The Longest Yard,” $5.5 million.
- “The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D,” $3.4 million.
- “Cinderella Man,” $3.3 million.
War of the Worlds opens this Wednesday with Fantastic Four and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory comming in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully all of them will be good. ![]()
