World of Warcraft (WoW) 1.6 Patch Live

The 1.6 patch has been published to the servers. The 190.1 MB patch has a lengthly list of changes, but a few of the biggest changes include:

  • Blackwing Lair – The new high level raid dungeon, and home of Nefarian the dragon.
  • The Darkmoon Faire traveling carnival
  • New Battlegrounds Battlemasters

Logging into the game will prompt the patch download via Blizzard’s horrid patch system. Those not wanting to wait hours to patch the game can get the 1.6 update faster via XFire, FilePlanet, or GamersHell.
