Well, the company that I am contracted to has some delusional ideas that switching everyone over to working a 4-10 schedule will somehow make this place a more efficient and more productive environment.
Not sure where they get their information from, considering everyone I talk to isn’t exactly thrilled over the idea. Though, according to the same people moral here is supposedly very high, and it is only a vocal minority that are unhappy. Vocal minority? How many people did management actually talk to about this? And out of that, how many people were not ass kissers?
Anyway… back on to the original topic… thanks to this brilliant idea I’ll be working from 6:00AM till 4:30PM Monday through Thursday. That is, only for the next 90 days while they give this a “trial run”. At the end of the trial, they’ll decide to stay on 4-10s or go back to the extremely popular 5-8s.
