I’m still on kind of a hiatus until the RP-PvP server comes out for WoW. Because of that, I haven’t really posted much about it. I guess you could take this as kind of a WoW Weekend Update.
Let’s see here…. first off, Blizzard has copied the hard work and ideas of other people and released their own “Talent Point Calculator” as well as a “Game Map” that details flight paths, zone levels, instance locations, and other stuff. Similar services have been available since beta on various fan sites, such as WorlofWar.net, WoWVault, WoWWarcry, and many others.
This isn’t the first time Blizzard has come out with something “new”. Their pasr UI improvements were ideas taken from COSMOS, CTMod, and a number of other custom UI’s.
Let’s see here…. Blizzard also release another new PvE server last weekend. The new realm is “Greymane”.
We’ve also gotten a sneak peak of the upcoming instance, “Zul’Gurub“, and the upcoming battleground “Arathi Basin“. The new BG is oddly similar to the conquest type of maps seen in Electronic Art’s Battlefield games, so it should be fun.
With any luck, the 1.7 patch will be released in a few more weeks. Maybe that is wishful thinking.
Well see.
