Google Sitemaps Adds Mobile Sitemap

Google has had a pretty nice feature for webmasters called, Google Sitemaps, which allows you to submit a list of links (a.k.a. a sitemap :P ) directly to Google so they know what pages exactly to crawl and index.

They have now updated sitemaps to include the ability to submit a mobile sitemap. URLs indexed from this sitemap will be accessible to users searching via Google’s Mobile Search.

GMail Changes

Google has made a couple of small changes to GMail.

First off, current GMail user’s now have 100 invites that they can use. Need a GMail account? Feel free to contact me, and I’ll send one (or more) to you. Also, OCC has a GMail Invite Thread that you can make use of as well. — It helps if you’ve been a member there for a while. ;)

If you live in the US and have a mobile phone you can also sign up for GMail with it.

Opera's Site Under Heavy Load

Well, it looks like Opera’s site is starting to slow to a crawl. Though with it being hit hard from digg and Slashdot, it’s amazing the server hasn’t gone up in flames. :P I know, I know…. give it time and it probably will.

Even with the site bogging down like it is now, this is a good sign for Opera. It means there are a lot of people hitting the site, downloading the browser, and getting free registration codes.
