This one is a personal entry, rather than my usual tech related news and ramblings.
Today, I received word that my grandparents’ house in Piggott, AR caught on fire. This happened this morning, so details are still hard to come by. However the good news is that my grandparents are both ok.
From what little I’ve been told, a good portion of the house has been destroyed, including my grandfather’s workshop. What may be the biggest loss though are some items that can never be replaced… family photos, including childhood photos of my mother and aunt, and some items that my grandparents first received when they got married. I’m sure there were a number of other personal items lost because of this.
