Google AdSense Goes Referrals

Google has updated their AdSense program, now allowing those in the program to use referral links in addition to displaying the normal Google ads or search box.

AdSense members can refer other to the AdSense program and earn $100.00 if the person that signs up earns $100.00 themselves. In addition to referrals to the AdSense program, members can also refer people to Firefox. Doing so can earn the member $1.00.

With the Google-Sun Microsystems deal, I wonder if we’ll start seeing similar referral ads for OpenOffice.org.
