Today’s scheduled maintenance for World of Warcraft has been extended by two hours. Not that it really matters, as the 1.9 patch has been pushed out, meaning most servers will be unplayable for the remaining of the day. Yes, I know… it happens every patch day. Is it just me, or does it feel like the patch is hosted on the actual game servers?
Oh well… today’s patch is the big one. Here’s a few things that we’ll be receiving with 1.9:
- Ahn’Qiraj (Southern Silithus)
- The Ruins of Ahn’Qiraj – 20-man raid dungeon
- Temple of Ahn’Qiraj – 40-man raid dungeon
- New Armor Models for high level armor (tier 2 & 3)
- Auction Houses In Capitol Cities (Stormwind, Undercity, etc.)
- Multiple Battlegrounds Queues – Queue up for WSG, AB, and AV at the same time, and get into which ever BG comes up first.
- Paladin
NurfTalent Update
There is more, but that’s the main points. I’m sure we’ll have a full change log later.
As always, the Blizzard Patcher sucks, so you may want to download the patch from a faster service.
Note: Most of these sites do not currently have the patch available. Usually Blizzard does not release the patch to these places till close to the end of server maintenance.
Update: The World of Warcraft website has been updated and now contains the official patch information for 1.9.
Now, if the mod authors would update.
