Ozzy Osbourne – Black Rain

So the other day the wife and I stopped by Target (well technically, it was Super Target). She was off doing her thing, while I was left to peruse the CD & DVD section of the store. Looking through the usual collection of crap on the shelves, I noticed a thin brownish package sitting on the bottom row with “Ozzy” inscribed in big black letters.

I hadn’t heard about any new Ozzy albums coming out, so I expected this was just going to be a milk the artist greatest hits type album. A quick gander at the track list, and it was easy to tell that this was in fact something new.

The first two tracks “Not Going Away” and “I Don’t Wanna To Stop” are absolutely great. The reaming eight songs, while not bad are your typical Ozzy.

Apple Safari For Windows

In case you haven’t heard, Apple has released a beta version of Safari 3 for Windows. That’s right, Apple has released their special browser for “that other OS”. Sounds like a bad idea to mix software like that… but then again, in this day in age, we have PCs running OSX. Why not Windows running Apple software?

If you look at the “Performance” chart, you might get the idea from looking at it that Safari is incredibly slow. Look again. The smaller number is better, not the bigger graph!

No, I’ve not tried it yet… and to be honest, I haven’t decided if I want to or not.

Three Years!

Happy Anniversary to my loving wife. Today is our three year anniversary. That’s right, almost three years and four hours from the time we said “I Do” to each other.

Jericho Saved! But The Mission Isn't Over.

Congratulations to all of the fans of Jericho. You’ve saved the show according to a post on the official Jericho Message boards. While no return date has been committed yet, they did say seven episodes, and if it takes off there will be even more.

So, while this battle has been won, the war is far from over. Jericho is still going to need your help in order to stay alive. We fought hard to bring the show back, and we’re going to have to fight even harder to keep it. What can you do to help? Here are some ideas:

- Watch the show when it returns to CBS.
- Watch the re-runs this summer.
- Record the show on your TiVo or DVR.
- Buy the Season 1 DVD when it comes out in September.
- Buy or rent season 1 episodes on iTunes or Amazon Unbox
- Blog about the show.
- Tell your friends, family, co-workers, and the world to watch.

Thanks CBS! (I cannot believe I actually said that!)

What Do You Call The In-Laws?

An interesting yet unusual article on FOXNews.com got me thinking this afternoon. It’s a simple question, what do you call your in-laws? Or is it so simple? Do you call them “mom” and “dad”, do you address them by their first name, or Mr. & Mrs. Whatever? Is there a right answer?

I sat and thought about it… what do I call my in-laws? I’ve referred to my in-laws as “mom” and “dad” a few times, but to the best of my knowledge I have never actually called them mom/dad when speaking to them. Most of the time, I’ll use their first name.

So, what do you call yours?
