Big news for WoW fans came from Blizzcon last week when the 2nd expansion pack was announced. World of Warcraft: Rise of the Lich King looks to add features to the game that we were promised years ago. Better late than never, eh?
So, what’s expansion #2 set to add to the game?
Without a doubt, there will be more zones, battlefields, quests, and items.
The level cap will rise again, this time to level 80.
The first Hero Class, the Death Knight, will be available to users capable of completing a uber elite quest chain.
Will see siege weapons deployed to [new] battlegrounds. — Ahh, if only it would be like the days of Shadowbane.
“New” character customization options.
Only thing has me a bit curious here. Eventually, you will be able to fight Arthas at the Frozen Throne. I sure hope Blizzard doesn’t allow you to “kill” him. After all, this is suppose to be the most powerful of all beings. Now, if you could defeat him, but have him vanish just before death, I could go along with that. Save his real death for a level 120 doungin. That’d be better.
Will this cause certain people who canceled their WoW accounts to return to Azeroth? It might.
