Some Stats About d3bruts1d.com

I was looking at my site’s stats for the past year via Google Analytics, and found some interesting stats. Well, at least they were interesting to me, you might not care one bit about them. :p According to the data reported:

  •  I’ve received 2x more traffic from Neowin.net than I have from OverclockersClub.com. I’ve only been active at Neowin since about May.
  • I’ve received almost as much traffic from my wife’s blog as I have from OverclockersClub.com.
  • Since switching to WordPress traffic appears to have increased. – Though this is more likely due to the fact that I’m posting more.
  • Yahoo brings in about 10% more search traffic than Google.
  • Altavista, which brings in very little traffic, still brings in more than Live and Ask.com combined.
  • The most popular search term is “viewmymessage.com”, which I was complaining about in this post.
  • Aside from the index or main page, the most popular pages here are the ones talking about Trillian Astra.

Jericho: The Return

We’ve been waiting for this for a long time, and finally the wait is just about over. After a long, hard fight Jericho returns to CBS on February 12th. Remember, we only got an initial seven episodes for season two. If there is enough interest in these seven episodes, we’ll get a full season two. Remember to spread the word about the return of Jericho!

If you need a refresher, if you missed anything that happened in season one, or you never watched the show to begin with you can watch every episode for free online at CBS.com. And for those of you that haven’t seen it yet, there is a trailer for Jericho sitting out on YouTube. Let me say, the trailer rocks! Looks like CBS might actually help the show this time around.

Well, It’s About That Time

It’s just about time for me to head off to see family. I probably won’t be online much, if at all, until after Christmas. So, I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas. Be careful on the roads for those of you traveling this season.

Google Toolbar 5 (Beta) For IE

Google released an updated version of their Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer the other day. The main things you’ll find with this version:

  • The ability to save your toolbar settings online and “sync” them between computers.
  • Integration of Google Notebook directly into the toolbar.
  • Improved find that mimics the Opera & Firefox “find bars”.

I like having Google Notebook there, but I absolutely do not like the way that it has been merged with Google Bookmarks. No word on when a Firefox version with the new features will be available, or if there will be a cross browser syncing ability.
