Lost Boys: The Tribe Trailer
In case you haven’t heard, they’ve been working on a sequel to Lost Boys. Yes, nothing is sacred and every movie in existence these days seem bound to have a sequel.
Well, MTV has posted a trailer for The Lost Boys: The Tribe, and I must say it looks pretty cool. I’ll hold final judgment until I actually see the movie. The big question I have isn’t “why”, but rather is it just me or does Corey look like he did in the 80′s?
Xfire 1.89 Released
Yesterday Xfire 1.89 was released. Nothing really special about this update, except they have increased the storage space you have for uploaded images. The previous limit was 15MB, now users have 150MB of space.
Microsoft Vista Service Pack 1 Released
Microsoft has officially released Service Pack 1 for Windows Vista (aka Windows ME²). You can check out the release notes to find out most of what has changed. Undocumented changes are sure to be talked about soon on blogs everywhere… who knows, you might even get surprised by the new undocumented “features”.
WordPress 2.5 RC1 Available & Sneak Peek
I’ve seen a lot of complaints about WordPress 2.5. Mainly people feel that the features coming in 2.5 don’t make up for skipping the 2.4 release earlier in the year. Personally, I’m eagerly awaiting 2.5. Why? This sneak peek sums it all up…
A customizable dashboard, multi-file upload, built-in galleries, one-click plugin upgrades, tag management, built-in Gravatars, full text feeds, and faster load times sound interesting? Then WordPress 2.5 might be the release for you.
There isn’t much I don’t like about WordPress, however I’ve found it annoying that there isn’t a “real” gallery for it. Sure, I could use some kind of flickr tie in, but darn it, I want my pictures hosted on my own site, not somewhere else. That, and WordPress’s current tag management system leaves much to be desired. Those two things alone make me happy.
