Old News: Wordpress 2.6 Released

I’m a bit slow on this one. Apparently Wordpress 2.6 was released last Tuesday.

Some of the new features include:

  • The ability to track changes/edits to post and pages.
  • Press This! Bookmarklet. Allows you to post to Wordpress from any web page.
  • Google Gears support. Not much to it right now, but should offer some cool stuff later on.
  • Ability to move the wp-admin directory.
  • About 194 bug fixes.
  • Improved security tweaks.
  • And lots of other cool stuff.

I’ll be upgrading shortly, so if the site is unavailable for a minuite or two that’s probably why. ;)
