Not to be confused with The Italian Job or the upcoming The Brazilian Job which also star Jason Statham, The Bank Job is based on a true story. Keep in mind, just because it’s based on a true story, doesn’t mean that everything is true. Usually a true story will have bits of action and drama added to keep an audience engrossed. Truthfully, I would have enjoyed a bit more action in the movie. ;)

It’s not bad, unless you are an Jason Statham fan like myself and you’re expecting something more along the lines of Snatch, Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, or The Transporter. If you watch this for what it is, a true story or a documentary (of sorts) then you might just enjoy it… though it’ll still be very, very slow. There isn’t a lot of action, because let’s face it, life is usually boring compared to the films. ;) Though don’t worry, we do get to see Jason kicking some ass in the film.

At 1 hour and 51 minutes the film feels a lot longer than it really is.
