Thanking for posting this. I really like the TiVo-Amazon combo and I'm dead-in-the-water, too. Very same behavior as you describe.

According to the Amazon.com Unbox support people, it's been "fixed" for
almost a week now, but I'm still unable to download anything. I tried
calling them again Tuesday and was simply told by support that "someone is
watching my account, and will be back in touch with you on Thursday." So,
with any luck I'll either be fixed or have more information today.
