Sunday officially ended my third week of school and with it my first class, Professional Development. Considering the late start, and technical issues, we really didn’t do much… not that I’m complaining, I mean the class was basically about Microsoft Office 2007 and writing a resume. It was one of the classes I was least looking forward to, so it is nice to see that one out of the way.

Today we begin “Website Development” otherwise known as an introduction to HTML. This class should go by fairly quickly, assuming it doesn’t bore me to tears. Only three weeks of this class, with a holiday thrown in to shorten things a bit.

13 more weeks to go this semester.

First week of school is now behind me. While there were a few technical glitches with the system the first two days, the instructor wasted no time in dishing out homework. The distance education program is unlink any kind of schooling I’ve done before, and is certainly going to require some discipline. It’s probably a good thing I didn’t try this several years ago, I don’t know that I would have been able to stay focused.

One week down for this semester, 19 16 more to go.
