few days ago i wrote some comments on DISQUS.i do also think DISQUS is more popular than ID. both services are nice. but i like DISQUS most as it shows comments more quickly.

I'm loving that new plurk tab, and glad we also have our privates tab back. Now if we could just get an instant “reply to” feature like Twitter has… we'd be set!

If you click on the wrench, there is an option to import bookmarks. It didn't grab mine from Firefox either. I was surprised to see that Google Chrome doesn't use the Google Bookmarks as their bookmark system.

Though this is only the first release of a product that will probably be in beta for a long, long time.

I had a chance to try Chrome today and there's lots to like. My favorite thing is the element inspector, and the fact that each tab is an independent process. So if one tab goes down, times out, etc. the others are fine.

The speed is great and I like the simplicity in the interface.

Now, if only I could figure out why it didn't import my FF2 bookmarks, and how to tell it to try that again!

I like your re-download/insurance idea. When I buy a book from Audible they keep a file on their system in my “Library” and I can access it at any time. That way I don't have to have so many huge book files on my hard drive, but I can also re-download if a file becomes corrupted.

Needs some work on the “Recent Comments” widget on the right, but other than that things look pretty good.
