Trillian Astra Build 68 Released

We have a new Trillian Astra build this week, and thankfully this one will auto update. Build 68 features a full revamped to the [Yahoo] Voice Call system, and improved chat views. These features should be available in both the Cobalt and Cordonata skins. For more information on the changes, check out the developers blog.

If I had a guess, from the way things sound we may have one or two more “clean up” builds before they release the first beta.

Some Stats About d3bruts1d.com

I was looking at my site’s stats for the past year via Google Analytics, and found some interesting stats. Well, at least they were interesting to me, you might not care one bit about them. :p According to the data reported:

  •  I’ve received 2x more traffic from Neowin.net than I have from OverclockersClub.com. I’ve only been active at Neowin since about May.
  • I’ve received almost as much traffic from my wife’s blog as I have from OverclockersClub.com.
  • Since switching to WordPress traffic appears to have increased. – Though this is more likely due to the fact that I’m posting more.
  • Yahoo brings in about 10% more search traffic than Google.
  • Altavista, which brings in very little traffic, still brings in more than Live and Ask.com combined.
  • The most popular search term is “viewmymessage.com”, which I was complaining about in this post.
  • Aside from the index or main page, the most popular pages here are the ones talking about Trillian Astra.

Trillian Astra Build 66 Released

A new Trillian Astra build has been released. Unfortunately, due to maintenance on the servers they are not auto-updating this build. Instead, you’ll have to manually download this update. This build offers relative timestamps, fixes timestamps in the bubble view, and adds a new skin able “supertooltip”. The “supertooltip” is the new info card that you’ll see when you mouse over someone in the contact list.

Trillian Astra Build 65 Released

There’s a new build available for the Astra testers. This build adds “message bubbles” which look an awful lot like SMS conversations on the iPhone. It’s nice, simple, and my personal favorite minimalistic. The new view is currently only available when using the Cordonata skin, so that may be a problem for some. Another issue users may have is the time stamp is missing (gah!), though the devs promise to add it back very soon.
