Digg.com rolled out “Digg version 3″ today which among other things changed the layout of the site. The user menu which had been on the right side was moved to the left during this change, and more than a few people didn’t like this.
A fellow digger posted CSS on his blog for Firefox users to get the bar back on the right side…. well, I’ve taken the code and written a brief guide for Opera users.
Microsoft has released Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 to the public. Lord help us.
And in related news… I saw this article posted on Digg. It talks about CSS, CSS Hacking, and IE7. Good read for any web designers out there.
In the past several hours something terrible has happened to the popular tech news site, Digg.com. As posted in the Opera forums, Digg no longer displays correctly for Opera users. — That other browser is having problems with Digg as well, so I doubt this is some sort of evil scheme targeting Opera users. 
Update (8:48 PM): The issue has been resolved. 
Well, it looks like I made it to the digg front page. So, welcome to my own personal little place all of you diggers.
Yup, the story I submitted over a day ago to digg ended up on the front page… Guess that makes me special, or something. Not really. 
I did want to respond on one particular comment left by “inert_gas”. I’m pretty sure the article I liked to (on my site) is the one I intended to link to. Thank you for your concern, but I’ve got it covered.
Common now, what would be the point of writing an article if it didn’t get read (or even linked to)? o.O Sure, I could have linked back to the Opera site which just said “2.4 Million downloads and counting…”, or to Opera Watch, or I could like to my article, which has a bit more information, news, and related items. Maybe I’m a bit bias, but I like my site.
But thank you all for coming. Fellow Opera fans, Firefox fans, and even IE users. Feel free to hang around all ya want. I don’t mind.
Oh, and one last thing. People left some pretty entertaining comments on that digg, which makes for an amusing read if you have some time.
I post about a lot of thing here on my site. Movies, TV, Software, Games, and pretty much anything else that comes to mind. Even with as much as I post about here, there are still a lot of other things that interest me that I don’t post about.
Why? Well, no real reason in particular other than the lack of time. Lets face it, I don’t have the time to post about 100 different things each day.
