Let’s hope Apple doesn’t get too upset. Google just rebranded a product and used a lowercase I in it’s name. Though considering Google’s CEO sits on Apples Board of Directors, I doubt they’ll have much of an iSSUE.
Anyway, as the title suggest, Google has rebranded the Google Personalized Homepage as iGoogle. According to Googling Blogoscoped, the change happened about 9:00 PM PST last night.

I use the Google Personalized Page has my default page while at work, and one of the things on it is a random quote (or quote of the day). Usually I don’t give it much thought; however I thought I’d share the one provided today…
“Times have not become more violent. They have just become more televised.”
That is from Marilyn Manson.
I don’t care what you think about him or his music, but that quote is absolutely true.

Earlier this week Google released an API for the Personalized Google Homepage. More information is available on the API page and the Google Blog.
There have already been a few modules created. Nothing really exciting at the moment.

Google has now has their very own “Add To Google” button. This allows users to add a site’s feed(s) to the Google Reader or Google’s Customized Home Page.
The code is as simple as this:
<a href=”http://fusion.google.com/add?feedurl=[SITE FEED]“><img src=”http://buttons.googlesyndication.com/fusion/add.gif” width=”104″ height=”17″ border=”0″ alt=”Add to Google”></a>
But if you need help or just want more information, you’ll find that here.
You can see the button in action on the right side of my site.

Another day, and something new to post about Google. Google’s customizable home page (aka Fusion or MyGoogle) has been given an update.
The new version of Google’s customizable home page includes the ability to add customized news, RSS feeds, and a slew of other new categories. Also the Google logo has been scaled down quite a bit, a popular request on the Google Fusion Discussion Group.
