Ubuntu 5.10 Released

Ubuntu 5.10 has been released. You’ll need the CD for the entire change list, but here are some of the new items included in 5.10:

  • GNOME 2.12.1
  • OpenOffice.org 2.0 beta 2
  • X.org 6.8.2 with wider hardware support
  • Linux 2.6.12.6
  • Simple “dual boot” configuration

Ubuntu Colony CD 4

Colony CD 4 is ready. This is the fourth in a series of milestone CD images that will be released throughout the Breezy development cycle, as images that are known to be reasonably free of showstopper CD-build or installer bugs, while representing very current snapshots of Breezy.
