We’ve had 3 episodes so far, and NBC has already ordered a second season of American Gladiators. There isn’t any additional information available at this time. No clue when season two will air, or how many episodes it will be. Or even if the Hulkster will be back.

Fans Are Rice For Journeyman
Looks like fans of Journeyman are taking a page out of the Jericho book. When CBS canceled Jericho, fans (including me) sent tons of nuts to CBS headquarters. The nutty planned worked, and soon Jericho will be back for a short season two. Now fans are trying a similar approach with NBC over Journeyman.
While it’s not as cool as the whole “Nuts for Jericho / Save Jericho” campaign, the Save Journeyman campaign is asking fans to send in Rice-A-Roni to NBC and NBC Universal executives. Why send in boxes of “The San Fransisco Treat”? Because Journeyman is set in that location. Duh.
NBC Universal Stick With HD-DVD
NBC ‘s Universal Studios has officially debunked rumors that it was dumping HD-DVD and moving to Sony’s Blu-Ray format. This is good news for the HD-DVD fans, earlier this week it was looking as if HD-DVD was dead and the HD format wars were over with.

East Tennessean On American Gladiators
If you caught tonights episode of American Gladiators, there was a contestant on from East Tennessee. Jeff Chapman is a Maryville native who graduated from William Blount High School in 1999. He’s a radcon tech in Oak Ridge, operates a karate studio in Kingston, and participates in amateur cage fights in Kentucky on the weekends.
Sadly for Jeff his martial arts training wouldn’t be enough for him. He blew a four second head start in “The Eliminator” and was ultimately defeated by the reverse escalator. Better luck next time Jeff!
American Gladiators Has Returned!
Tonight was the two hour premier of an all new American Gladiators. And wow, is it back! The gladiators are amazing, and so are the contestants so far, especially the last 4 that competed. The wife and I will be tuning in Monday night during their scheduled time.
So far we’ve already had 1 contestant eliminated due to injury, as well as a gladiator hurt. And with the way the guys are playing, I’m sure well see a lot more bruises before it’s all over with.
I will admit though, it’s kinda odd seeing Hulk Hogan hosting the show. I keep wanting to see him run out and body slam someone.
Oh, does anyone know what happened with the original gladiators? I’d be interested in seeing a “where are they now” special on them.
