It’s Woopra Time

Monday, June 9th, 2008

Yesterday (or the day before) someone on Plurk mentioned Woopra. I hadn’t heard anything about Woopra before, and come to find out it’s a web site analytics service similar to Google Analytics (formally Urchin). So I decided to give the service a go.

After being approved, all I can say is… WOW! This service really is nice, and after using it for a few days, I’ll admit, I like it better than Google Analytics. If you run a blog, or any other website I’d highly encourage you to take a look at Woopra.

Google Analytics

Monday, November 14th, 2005

The newest service from Google has hit the web. Google Analytics, which is based on the recently acquired Urchin, will give web masters the ability to see what exactly is going on (e.g. Where did a visitor come from, where did they go, most active pages, etc.). The best thing about it, the service when it was provided by Urchin use to cost $495 per month is now free.

That’s right, a full-featured analytics service free. No banners, no buttons, no cost. What else could you ask for?

Update: The Google Blog has been updated with more information.
