Xfire 1.94 was released just a few minutes ago. And for the first time in a long time, I’m on the ball! :D

Aside from the usualround of game updates, and bug fixes, this build enables th in-game video capture by default. Look out Fraps! This is probably the only feature of Xfire I’ve never used. May need to give it a run later today while playing some Titan Quest.

I haven’t posted anything about Xfire since 1.89 was released back in March. Part of that is I’ve been extremely busy, and part if that is because I haven’t done hardly any PC gaming in a long, long time. Sorry for the lack of information concerning Xfire. I’ll try to stay more on top of things.

That said, Xfire 1.93 was released on June 9th. I’m sure anyone who uses Xfire has already long since updated their software.

Yesterday Xfire 1.89 was released. Nothing really special about this update, except they have increased the storage space you have for uploaded images. The previous limit was 15MB, now users have 150MB of space.

Those of you connected to Xfire probably noticed that an Xfire update was just released. To update, simply start the Xfire client and it will auto update.

This release added a new theme to the Shadow skin called Standard. It’s a silverish theme. Other than that, we have bug fixes for the video capture, and a number of new games supported. That’s pretty much it.

If I’m not mistaken, we have the first Xfire release for the new year. For the most part, this update appears to be just the same as every other update. What I find interesting about it however is a new beta feature that can be enabled via the options: video capture. Could Xfire be getting ready to compete with Fraps? If Xfire keeps their version free, and without a watermark it could very well change the game. Though Xfire will have to be good to take down the king of video game recording.

Xfire was updated yesterday. Version 1.85 brings the official release of the Xfire Clans and Guilds system. Aside from that we have a few bug fixes, and a slew of new game supported. Due to the holidays the next release is scheduled for January 7th.

New version of Xfire was released today. As usual, it’s mainly to add support for new games and very little else. It’ll update next time you login.

A new update for Xfire was released today. Usual round of stuff included in this update as well as a new skin, Shadow. I’m really digging the new skin, and it’ll be the default for new users.

A new update was just published for Xfire. Basically just a normal update, only thing really worth mentioning is the max friends limit has been upped to 1000. Really now, why is there even a limit?
